Disability access

The Surgery is accessible by wheelchair, we also have a wheelchair which is available for use by patients whilst in the surgery, please ask one of our patient services team.

We have a ramp to aid wheelchair access.  All consulting rooms are on the ground floor and we also have toilet facilities for the disabled.

Assistance dogs are accepted within the building however other dogs should be left outside the building in a safe location.

Parking

The surgery has a large car park with disabled parking bays. The surgery requests that patients respect these parking bays and abide by the double yellow lines marked around the car park, this is for everyone’s safety.

Due to the slope in the car park if there is ice and snow the rear car park will be closed again for safety reasons.

Please be mindful that if you choose to park in the supermarket car park next door to the Surgery there is a 30 minute time restriction, after which a fine will be imposed .

Other public parking is available off Orchard Street, next to the park. Parking there will be at your own risk.

Induction loop

There is an induction loop available to help the hard of hearing and also a portable hearing loop to take with you in your consultation.

Please ask at reception if you require any assistance.  We can help by talking to you in a quieter environment, booking appointments and letting you know when a GP has called you to their room.
